It's November. The weather is getting really cold and the days are getting earlier, aren't they? Today I'd like to introduce you to "White Mountaineering," a Japanese fashion brand by Aizawa Yosuke that we collaborated with this fall and has exhibited at Paris Fashion Week.

I met Aizawa-san, a highly sought-after designer who has recently collaborated with Uniqlo and, more familiarly, designed the wear for delivery workers at Kuroneko Yamato Transport, about 5-6 years ago. It was at the opening reception of NORDISK camp supply by ROOT, which manages the NORDISK directly managed store in Kinuta. I remember being introduced to him by stylist Taira-san and saying hello. However, at the time I remember not knowing what to do and being overwhelmed by the stylish atmosphere of Tokyo, so the truth is that I only exchanged a nod with Aizawa-san.

And from there, with the power of civilization, i.e. social media, the distance between us narrowed in an instant. And at an incredible speed! I personally followed Aizawa-san's Instagram and often looked at it. One day, he uploaded the cover of PLACE54 by the French hip-hop group HOCUS POCUS to his stories.

I could go on and on about HOCUS POCUS, so I won't go into it here. They're a French hip-hop band that produces amazing grooves rich in musicality, and MC 20SYL (Bansil) is multi-talented, demonstrating his talents as a producer and DJ. I myself used to be involved in hip-hop music, and have listened to hip-hop from America, Europe, and Asia, but they are my favorite artist of all. When I saw that such a favorite artist had appeared on Aizawa's story, I was so happy that I couldn't help but send him a message. Lol

The message was, "Your first album, 73Touches, is a masterpiece!" To my surprise, Aizawa himself messaged me, a person I didn't even know. He said, "I became a fan after seeing you on Asagiri Jam," and that he often travels to France for work, so French hip-hop was very familiar to him. We then started to introduce ourselves, and we found out that we're close in age and have similar interests. It didn't take long for us to collaborate. I love how things take shape in such a natural way. Of course, it all started with the product, the "headlamp," but when we start by talking about shared interests and similar interests, it's incredibly quick to create something, and it feels great. We both share the same passion for creating great things. Even so, I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with White Mountaineering, led by Aizawa. I'll talk about this later, but I'd like to thank "HOCUS POCUS" for connecting us. If you have the chance, please check out our music. And of course, don't forget to buy the collaboration headlamp! lol
