From Los Angeles to our destination, Salt Lake City

You can see Salt Lake from above! Is this the rumored "lake made of salt"?

The next morning we had a long drive of over 500km, so we booked a hotel near the airport.
Then the incident happened.
Since we were staying as a group of three men, we booked a room with what we thought would be two beds, but when we checked in, we were surprised to find that it only had one king-size bed and one sofa.
I tried to ask them, but they refused, saying they were fully booked for the day.
Since we were in America, I asked if the sofa was convertible and could be turned into a sofa bed, and was told, "If you pull it out it becomes a bed!"

Since many of us in the group suffered from back pain, we gave up on sleeping on the sofa bed. The moment we tried to lay it flat on the ground to check the springiness of the mattress, it came out.
No, it did come out.
It's not a ghost.
Something like this.
Between the sofa and the mattress...
It says "Walther: Made in Germany," right?
My impression is that it's heavier than I expected.
Yes, I touched it.
After discussing with my companion what we should do, we decided that we should immediately report the incident to the front desk, so we took a photo and told them exactly what happened.
Me: "Um, I just found something unbelievable in my room."
Front desk: "Yes?"
Me: "Show me the photo, this is it, this is it"
Front: "Oh my God~"
Me: "That's our line."
Front desk: "I'll call the president (owner) right now, so please let him know what the situation is."
Me: "Hello, actually, I just said..."
Owner: "I've been on this path for a long time, but this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this."
Owner: "I'm so sorry, let me know if there's anything I can do for you."
Me: "I booked a room and there's only one bed for three guys."
Owner: "Okay, I'll prepare a family room right away."
Me: "But I don't think I'd be able to sleep in a hotel with all this stuff."
After some negotiation, we were able to stay in a family room for free that day, but no one expected something like this to happen.

It would be terrifying if the owner of the gun came to the room saying they had left something behind to retrieve it.
It's even more terrifying to think what would have happened if the cancer had been discovered by a child, not an adult.
On my first day in Salt Lake City, I was able to experience firsthand the cancer-ridden America of America. To be continued.
