Last weekend, the Kurondo Rondo Milestone Cup was held at Kurondo Park in Osaka. It was an 8.6km race with four simultaneous races: 180k (21 laps), 120k (14 laps), 90k (11 laps), and 50k (6 laps). Due to the impact of COVID-19, the event was postponed several times, making it a difficult adjustment for both the staff and the runners.

The flag I made for this tournament is a 🏁 image with alternating black and white.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at CROSS-D who worked hard to make this event a reality, the volunteers who helped out at various locations such as the aid stations and checkpoints in the forest area, and Maeda Confectionery for their special sponsorship.

I also had the chance to talk to many milestone users during the race, which was fun. The best part of a lap race is being able to talk to the fastest runners at the top, and even runners who have run different distances!

The caps were also very popular.

Another thing I noticed this time was that there were many users of the flagship model headlamp, the MS-F1: Trail Master . Of course, the rental event was also held, so I think that had something to do with it, but I was really happy to hear that some people tried it on at the test run before the tournament and immediately bought it!

And, on a personal note, it was quite hard running 90km while setting up a booth, but with the support of my friends I was able to complete the race safely!

While I was running, I asked Yoshi, who also participated in the 50k, to look after the store. It looked like he was working lol

The people from Wednesday Grape Training who I always run with also ran and supported me, so I was able to run in a very friendly and homely atmosphere.

The canelés that were given to me were absolutely delicious.

The other day, I experienced supporting for the first time at LAKE BIWA, but this was the first time I was supported. It was an 8.6km lap race, so I was running while thinking about what to eat next. I'm grateful to Moto-san and Akacon for their support.

Finally, we took a commemorative photo of Bando-san, who ran the longest distance of all the members, having successfully completed the 120km course. Thank you for your hard work!

This time I participated in the 90km race, but I ended up running 100km, the longest distance of my life.

Now, my next race will be my main one of the year, the TDT100, which will be held on December 4th-5th, and will be my first ever 100 mile race.

Finally, the dust pouches that were distributed to participants of this tournament will also be available for purchase in limited quantities on the official milestone online store. If you are interested, please check this out .
