[March event information]

In March, apart from milestone_TERADACHO's monthly weekend event, we will be holding a special event on a weekday Friday night, inviting a special guest!

After closing for regular business hours on Friday, March 8th, we will be welcoming one of Japan's leading long-trail hikers, JK (aka Junki Nakamura), who will talk about his experiences walking the American trails over approximately 147 days from June to November 2023.

It's sure to be filled with tips that will be useful not only for hikers and fast packers, but also for trail runners.

There will also be a social gathering after the talk show, so let's all take a look at the incredible world of overseas long trails spanning 3,000 miles!

Here is a message from JK:

Hello everyone, I'm JK, a long trail hiker.

The CDT (Continental Divide Trail) is one of the three great trails that cross the watershed of the North American continent, and is a walk through the rugged terrain and harsh weather along the Rocky Mountains of the United States.

I walked for about five months. The distance from the Canadian border to the Mexican border is 5,000 km. My average daily walking distance was just over 40 km, and my longest distance was 70 km. During this long journey, carrying everything I needed for food, clothing, and shelter, I encountered new people, experienced heartwarming moments of the Earth's beauty, engaged in self-reflection over the course of 147 days, and experienced the emotions that can only be experienced by walking, step by step.

I heard that there will be opportunities to meet runners on the day, so I hope it will be an opportunity to share the different appeals of long trails and running activities.
