We apologize for keeping everyone waiting. The information has finally been released. Next week on the 13th (Friday), our guest will be Keisuke Ichinose from the Adatara Agatsuma Nature Center.

The talk event will be titled "The story of 100-year-old bonsai and 1000-year-old hot springs" along the Bandai, Azuma, and Adatara Volcano Trail® Fukushima Volcano Journey.
Below is an overview.
The Bandai-Azuma-Adatara Volcano Trail® was featured on the cover of TRAILHEAD Vol. 5, a magazine specializing in long trails, released in October this year. The long trail concept circumnavigates the active volcanoes (Mount Bandai, Mount Azuma, and Mount Adatara) concentrated in the Fukushima Prefecture area of Bandai-Asahi National Park, the second largest national park in Japan. The entire area is divided into east-west, north-south, and the "East Area" section, "ATA: Azuma to Adatara," has an official map released for the 2024 season.

This talk event will feature Keisuke Ichise (representative of the Adatara-Azuma Nature Center), producer of the Bandai-Azuma-Adatara Volcano Trail®, who will talk about the thoughts behind the route design of the "ATA" section, along with the scenery along the route. He will also talk about the talk topic, "The story of 100-year-old bonsai and 1000-year-old hot springs."

Additionally, the event (December 13th) coincides with the release of entry information for the 2025 season of the Ultra Hiking Race "VOLCANO48," which is being held on the ATA: Azuma to Adatara route (including "VOLCANO72," which is also being held on the same date), so participants will likely be able to discuss the event in detail. In the second half of the event, Moonlight Gear's Takashi Chiyoda and Yoshihiro Nakatsuchi (whose journey was featured in TRAILHEAD Vol. 5 magazine), who actually hiked the "ATA" section, and milestone's Yoshida, will also be taking to the stage for a talk session. Chiyoda and Nakatsuchi have hiked many trails before, so we can expect to hear about the appeal of the Bandai-Azuma-Adatara Volcano Trail®, which they experienced firsthand.
Everyone, please look forward to it!
