The four-day event "milestone presents... ROAD TRIP 2020 Kanto Edition" was held from Thursday, October 29th to Sunday, November 1st, and was successfully completed. Please watch this video to learn about the concept of this event.

Together with milestone ambassador Ryo Doi, we visited local shops in the Kanto region and held seminars on techniques, tips, and how to use headlamps in night riding situations.

First up was RUNARX RUNNING COMPANY in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. It was a very interesting event, with participants running from the shop along the riverbank and then sprinting up a hill for 10 minutes.

The next day, we left the inn early in the morning and headed to Nikko in Tochigi Prefecture. Since we had some time before our evening group run, we headed from Nikko Toshogu Shrine to Mount Nyoho.

The autumn leaves were so beautiful that we stopped many times. *It turns out that we just couldn't keep up with Mr. Doi's fast pace, but we managed to reach the summit safely.

As we headed down the mountain for our evening group run, we met up with Hoshino Yukari along the way.

Since it was my first session with Doi-san, I had a lot of fun driving and chatting with him.

More than 20 people participated in the evening group run, and I got the impression that Tochigi's trail running community is very united.

That day, we stayed at the Hoshino couple's home, and Aki, the husband, treated us to homemade gyoza, a Utsunomiya specialty.

I really enjoyed Hoshino Resorts.

The next morning, before heading to Mount Takao, Aki accompanied me to Lake Chuzenji and treated me to some wild sweetfish, which she recommended. The saltiness and grilling were just right. lol

The first two days of the event were off to a great start. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, RUNARX, and Ametsuchi.
