Jerry Ukai's solo exhibition "Did you find a friend?" (April 26th - May 19th) @milestone TERADACHO started during Golden Week. Thanks to everyone who came, it was a huge success.

In the column "Tell Me! Milestone," I have already asked why he decided to hold a solo exhibition this time, and why the milestone version of JERRY MARQUEZ's LIGHTING YOUR WAY was born.

They also came to our town of Teradacho on the first and last days, and you can see what happened on the first day in this blog .

I asked him if we could do a talk show if he would be there on the final day, and he readily agreed. "It might be good to talk about the memories of that time when I hiked the mountain using a Milestone headlamp!" he said, sending me a variety of photos that could be used in a slideshow.

Manager Yoshida: I thought that Yoshi, also known as Yoshi, would be able to interact well with the character, so I came up with this idea.

Everyone was captivated by Jerry's story.

I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Jerry during this exhibition, and his stories were fascinating and captivating. I also felt that he was knowledgeable and well-versed in a wide range of subjects.

The special guest this time was his beloved daughter, Rikka. The look in her eyes as she listened to her father's story was very impressive.

Although Rikka doesn't smile much,

There were several times when she opened up to me and showed me a smile.

Playing table tennis with a headlamp on,

Tug of war,

It was a precious time drawing together. The themes that Rikka-chan gave us were "Girls," "Animals," and "Jerry Marquez." lol And after the exhibition was over, it was time to say goodbye. We all took a commemorative photo. With our rackets in hand lol

On the way to Shin-Osaka, I mustered up the courage to ask Jerry, "I'd like to do another solo exhibition in two years!" He readily agreed, saying, "Yes! Let's do it in two years." It was a truly happy moment. We too will be even more energetic as we look forward to the next two years. And, Rikka-chan, will you remember me when we meet next time?

Well, the solo exhibition is over and the store's interior has been remodeled.

On display above the counter on the first floor is Jerry's largest watercolor painting to date, "Did you find a friend?", so be sure to check it out when you visit.

Jerry's canvas works are also on display on the second floor, so be sure to check them out!

This time, as part of milestone's 10th anniversary project, a solo exhibition by Jerry Ukai was held. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to Jerry, everyone who visited our store, and our colleagues who always support us. Now, in June, the second part of our 10th anniversary project will be held. This will also be an extremely special day, so please continue to check our social media!
