Recently, milestone TERADACHO has been holding talk shows once or twice a month. This time, we had two guests from the GHT project (Great Himalayan Trail Project).

From left: Yoshida (Manager of milestone TERADACHO), Iizaka (photographer), Nezu (writer), and Nishioka.

The talk by these two experienced speakers was so skillfully constructed that it made participants feel as if they were traveling to Nepal.

Some of the participants were planning to travel to Nepal next spring, and there was a lot of real-life question and answer sessions.

There was occasional laughter, and a good time and atmosphere passed for a while, and after the two-hour talk show had flown by, there was a social gathering with the participants and merchandise that was only available on the day was on sale.

I believe that it is because he visits Nepal every year and lives with the local people that he is able to take such realistic photographs and write such articles. Nezu-san will be moving to Nepal next year.

Iizaka's photo exhibition will be held until Sunday, November 24th. The books are also available for purchase, so if you are interested, please speak to a member of staff.

Well, we have updated the calendar for November. We will have slightly irregular business hours in November. We will be open from 10am on Sunday, November 3rd, but Nishioka will be the only one working there. We will also be closed from Friday, November 8th to Sunday, November 10th, as we will be exhibiting and racing at "OMM" to be held in Izu.

The 21st (Thursday) is the Teradacho Jogging Club, held on the third Thursday of every month. Anyone can join without making a reservation, so we'll meet at 7pm. We'll leave by 7:30pm and jog for about 5km while chatting. After we're done, let's all chat over a beer!

And on the 24th (Sunday), we are open on our monthly weekend. This time, Fresh Shiitake Okamoto, run by "the famous" Shiitake Taro, will be coming to Teradacho. They will be selling grilled shiitake mushrooms and takeaway shiitake mushrooms at their store. By the way, Shiitake is a strong and kind runner who unfortunately lost in the final TJAR lottery. Starting at 4pm, we will be talking about his usual training and his thoughts on TJAR, so please come along if you can.

As an aside, Shiitake-kun cooperates with the photography for the milestone catalogue every year. What a nice guy.
