During the first half of the four-day holiday that included the Olympic opening ceremony, I went on a quick training camp with my usual group of friends to Kyotango City, which faces the Sea of Japan, for two days and one night.

L→R: Our hosts this time are Rio-chan, Nagata-san, Massan, Yoshi, Akacon, Hagi-san, Bando-san, me, and Moto-san.

Norio-chan, a member of TEAM SKY KYOTO, showed me around the Swiss Village area.

As we were running along feeling good, we suddenly noticed, "Oh no! This huge poop is, uh, uh, a bear! Could it be that?" What's more, it was shiny, so we wondered if it had been excreted recently? Everyone was panicking. Sweat

From there, we enjoyed the nature on a pleasant course.

Since Swiss Village is a ski resort, Norio always led the group, running up the lifts.

For the first time in my life, I almost got heatstroke, it felt like there was a membrane over my ears and my semicircular canals were acting up, so I was struggling to maintain my balance and could barely climb straight up.

However, once I reached the finish line, smiles naturally filled my face.

It was hot and tough, but the sense of accomplishment we all felt from running together was incredible.

In the afternoon, we had the much-anticipated BBQ in Taiza. The water was beautiful and the location was perfect.

The sunset was beautiful.
