The other day, I went on a whirlwind tour of Hong Kong to meet up with Martin, whom I met at the Okayama trail running race "SHINJO-HIRUZEN," which I also posted about on my blog .

Buses and cars honk their horns as they pass between the towering skyscrapers. Old men and women sell local produce at the market. It really is a lively place.

I had a quick sales call with Racing_The_Planet.

That night, there was a group run on Hong Kong Island, so I decided to join in at the last minute.

It was a steep course, but I managed to complete the 15km run. Hong Kong is beautiful during the day, but the night view is especially beautiful. The view from Hong Kong Island was exceptional.

It was quite a multinational event with participants from Italy, the US, France, Canada, Hong Kong and Japan, but we had a great time riding.

This trip also made me realize that I would like to actively participate in group runs overseas.
