good morning.

The weather was nice over the weekend. In Osaka, where our company is located, the Osaka Marathon was a big event.

I went to Mount Ishizuchi, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains and the highest peak in western Japan. When I contacted the local office the day before, I was told that the summit was frozen and crampons were necessary, so I quickly went to a nearby mountaineering shop (lol).

The temperature was 2 degrees when we left first thing in the morning.

The rumored chain section.

The area near the summit was beautifully frozen.

Time for the crampons. Lol

Tengu-dake seen from around the 1,920m summit.

Simply breathtaking.

Since we didn't have much time, we decided to leave Mount Tengu, which was visible in the distance, for next time.

However, I heard the person ahead of me say, "Ah, that felt great! It was the best!", so I told myself, "I've come all this way, so I might as well go for it," and hurried (actually, I was a little scared) up to Mt. Tengu. 1982m. It was amazing.

On the way back, we saw Lake Kurose. It was so beautiful that it cannot be expressed in a photograph.

Now, which of the 100 famous mountains should I go to next?
