The last weekend of June every year is the anniversary festival of milestone TERADACHO.

This year marks our 3rd anniversary.

This store, which is only open three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), is in a sense a very experimental concept store.

Nevertheless, people come from all over Japan, and sometimes even from overseas, with "Teradacho" as their destination. This fact is what motivates us to continue this place.

Now, let's get back to the main topic. Here are the people who will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary:

Professional trail runner Hiroki Ishikawa, Kei Kuwahara from "Run boys! Run girls!", a trail running specialty store in Tokyo, and myself, Shuhei Nishioka. This time, we also have Jackie-boy Slim, representative of Jindaiji Mountain Works, participating as a special guest DJ.


All four of us are known for our love of music, and our individual personalities were directly reflected in our song selections.


Hiroki-san played reggae.

Kei-san played all genres.

I played hip-hop.

Jackie-nii played soul and funk.

Even though the music was completely different, it connected in a strangely comfortable way, warming up the dance floor throughout the night. Thanks to this, we saw many smiling faces on the dance floor.

The order of the DJs was, as always, determined by their "trail running experience."


As the one with the least experience, I kicked things off, then passed the baton to Jackie-nii, who further heated up the venue with soul and funk grooves.

Then, Kei-san, just before the grand finale, unified the floor with his genre-bending selections. Without a doubt, Kei-san was the one who generated the most excitement at the venue that day.

And then, Hiroki Ishikawa took the grand finale, further elevating the excitement of the venue.

People who love to run in the mountains, people who love music, people who chat with a drink in hand.

Such people naturally mingle, and the time filled with smiles may be a scene that can only be created in this place.

As the organizer, seeing the smiles of all the performers, staff, and everyone who came was truly the greatest joy, and it gave me the energy to work hard for another year.

Day 2 featured the "RUN" segment of RUN + MUSIC. Although a typhoon was forecast, it miraculously cleared up just for that time slot.

And the number of participants was an astonishing 70, making it a huge success with about two classes' worth of people.

This time, we also ventured into the trail section,

Finally, I requested everyone to jump in front of Shitennoji Temple, Japan's oldest temple. Jerry's pose on the left is an X. This is the "I can't do it anymore!" pose I struck the moment I met Mr. Yoshida, my pacer, during the Shinetsu Five Mountains 100-mile race, isn't it?
