This is a relatively new authentic Chinese restaurant. The Chinese use authentic seasonings, so some people may like it and others may not, but personally, I like the Chinese and go there for lunch about four times a week. The mapo tofu and almond tofu are excellent.

The opposite of the above store, this is a famous restaurant that has been loved by locals for a long time: a local Chinese restaurant made by Japanese people and suited to Japanese tastes. The daily lunch specials here are also delicious.

In the fiercely competitive Teradacho area, restaurants come and go at a rapid pace. Among them, noodle restaurants tend to be particularly fast-changing. Here are five restaurants that are still reigning supreme.

This is another famous restaurant located along the loop line. The aroma of the creamy soup is enjoyable on both the nose and tongue. The fried chicken side dish is also recommended.

This ramen is made with black soy sauce and is packed with garlic. It's popular with students and there's always a line, even during the day. I always go here when I need some energy.

The original garlic ramen. A long-established shop near the station that is loved by locals. It's open late, so it's a good place to stop by after drinking. The char siu (church pork) is also delicious as a side dish.

Grilled squid Kenkichi

Grilled squid is a favorite of Osaka people. Speaking of grilled squid, there's Kenkichi, a shop in the basement of Hanshin Department Store. It's said that Yoshimoto mid-career comedian ⚫️⚫️ often comes here to buy some!

Head straight east on National Route 25, the main street, and turn left at the Teradacho intersection after passing Tontei. You'll find this restaurant right there. Their keema curry and cheese naan are great.

Coffee Market

This locally-based cafe is loved by locals. Not only is the coffee freshly roasted, but the pastries made by the pastry chef are also incredibly delicious.

Apparently it's a famous restaurant that was selected as one of the 100 best restaurants in 2022. I haven't been there so I can't rate it, but if you have been there, please let me know.
