So, we all got up early in the morning and drove an hour and a half west from Salt Lake City. Our destination was Bonneville Salt Flat. On the way, we stopped at a rest area and spotted a huge truck. I remember longing for a convoy truck like this one in the Over the Top movie starring Stallone.

The road was straight and we finally arrived at the entrance.

This isn't snow, it's salt. It's a huge amount of salt. It looks like something you'd see in a JEEP commercial...

From there, we headed north for another 550km, passing through Grand Teton, and headed for Yellowstone National Park. The sheer scale of the place, the cleanliness of the air... I witnessed countless sights that made me realize how amazing nature can be.

It's a place I definitely want to go back to next time. It was great.
