From October 8th to 10th, 2022, we held a 100-mile event in the Ikoma Mountains of Osaka and Nara, in the Kansai region, which is also milestone's home ground. It all started several years ago when Doi and I had been talking about wanting to hold an event like this in our hometown, and we've been steadily moving forward with the project. The five project members were chosen naturally. Each of us has a unique personality, so I think we have a well-balanced team.

The five of us held numerous meetings, recruited participants and volunteers, and held trial runs, resulting in a wonderful event with a truly welcoming atmosphere that put the spotlight on all 36 of us. Thanks to everyone who helped out, including the sponsoring companies, volunteers, supporters, runners who participated, people who cheered along the route, and everyone involved in the event, the first event was a huge success.

It must have been a long and difficult 100-mile event in the pouring rain, but everyone who participated was smiling. Seeing those smiles gave us courage. We wanted to somehow lead them to the finish line. We were taking photos as we went along on the day, and everyone's expressions were so good that we were able to take some great pictures.


We are planning to hold the event again, so we would like to further refine it and make it an even more accurate event. We appreciate your continued support.
