Haruka joined milestone on April 1st and had her first employee training. The destination was the Northern Alps.

When Yoshi and I went to the Hotaka mountain range two years ago, it was so foggy that we couldn't see anything.

This year too, it started with unexpected rain. When we reached the summit of Mt. Kurobegoro, one of the 100 famous mountains, the fog was so thick we couldn't see anything.

As I was descending the mountain, wondering if perhaps I had no connection to the Northern Alps, the fog disappeared in front of my eyes, and visibility suddenly improved. There was still snow remaining, and it felt cold when the wind blew.

On the first day, we camped at Kurobe Goro Hut. The sunset and starry sky were beautiful.

Departure after 4am

Aiming for Kumonodaira

Along the way, the snow begins to melt and we find the source of the river.

We also stopped by Takamagahara Onsen to soothe our fatigue. (We were filming a commercial to promote the podcast program "Weekly Milestone.com") For more details, please see 💁♂️

When I arrived at my dream destination, Kumonodaira Mountain Lodge, my excitement reached its peak.

There was an uphill climb right to the very end and it was really long, but we did it! We finally made it!

The atmosphere of the lodge was amazing, and the food and desserts were delicious. Thank you to everyone who took care of us. We had to get up at 3:30 in the morning to leave at 4:00, so we were given a packed breakfast.

The best time to take headlamp photos, commonly known as "golden time"

Both of them seem to be getting used to being models.

The reason I left early in the morning was to set aside time for fishing at the end. I was determined to catch some fish,

I caught a 22-23cm char. It was about 10 minutes before the time limit, so I was really happy and excited.

And finally, we all took a commemorative photo.

This time, we had originally planned to go to Mt. Yari and Gendarme, but due to bad weather we had to change course at the last minute. We are grateful to Yoshi and Haruka for coming up with this wonderful plan, and we would like to come to the Northern Alps (or the Central Alps or Southern Alps) again next year for employee training.
