Due to the impact of the new coronavirus, races across the country have been forced to be postponed or canceled, and requests for self-restraint continue, but are you all maintaining your motivation?

Since I'll be spending more time at home, I'd like to spend it doing things like home training and reading.

Now, we are collaborating with the trail running magazine "RUN+TRAIL" on a project called "HOW TO ENJOY THE NIGHT TRAIL ~How to Enjoy Night Trails~". Following on from Yoichiro Sakurai, who cooperated with us in the previous issue,

This time...

Sayaka Kokubun, who lives in Osaka, participates in many races throughout the year and achieves good results.

I met Kokubun-san about five years ago. I was holding a milestone seminar at a shop in a large shopping mall in Osaka, when I saw him walking briskly out the door, saying, "I'm off to the races now!" When we started talking, he said, "I'm taking part in the race that starts tonight, but I have a little time before then, so I'm going to relax by watching a movie at the cinema!" I was very impressed.

It has an amazing atmosphere, and I've always wanted to ask them to do a modeling shoot for Milestone.

Later, he said, "If you're serious about making a domestically produced headlamp that can be used for trail running, I'll introduce you to Doi-chan, the world-famous man from Osaka!" and he introduced me to him.

In other words, Kokubun-san introduced me to Ryo Doi, who cooperated with the development of the Trail Master, so you could say she is like the "mother figure of the Trail Master."

Kokubun kindly agreed to cooperate with this interview. Please check out "RUN+TRAIL Vol. 42" at your local bookstore or online at Sanei Shobo .

P.S.: For those who are interested after reading the magazine, **One lucky person will win a Trail Master in each issue. We are very happy to hear that we have received a large number of applications. We hope that everyone will give it a try, so please apply.
