Hello everyone. Even though it's November, we're still experiencing summer days with temperatures exceeding 25°C. Is this a sign of global warming? Personally, this reminds me of the crisp, comfortable weather of California, where you can wear short sleeves even at this time of year.
Recently, we have received many inquiries from customers who come to milestone TERADACHO asking, "Why aren't you open on weekends?"

Milestone is run by two people, myself and Manager Yoshida, and we work a lot on weekdays, but on weekends we participate in events held around the country, take part in trail running races, and spend time in the mountains conducting field tests for product development. lol (*We also need time to spend with our families.) So, the reality is that we basically have weekends off.
However, there are many customers who can only come on weekends, so we do have one weekend day a month. *Details are posted on the milestone TERADACHO Instagram profile.
That was last Sunday. This time, we had Mr. Nakagawa (nicknamed Masa), an ambassador for Columbia Montrail, who is based in Ryujin, Wakayama Prefecture, come and visit us.

I first met Nakagawa-san at an event in Shizuoka about a year ago. We were introduced by the organizer. Since then, I've met him at a few events and he has a great vibe. The coffee he roasts himself is incredibly delicious, and he apparently supplies Mitsukoya with sweet potatoes harvested from his fields in Ryujin. So I asked him if he'd be interested in holding an event at our place. He immediately said yes, and it didn't take long for him to respond.

Everything from the roasting machine they use to the sign and surrounding equipment has a sense of style.

People were already lining up before the start at 11am, and some came to drink the coffee they were looking for, while others came to check out the newly released Fast Trail Globe, and eventually they all sat down, sipped coffee, and ate roasted sweet potatoes.

We were blessed with great weather from the morning onwards and it was a truly pleasant day.

The fragrant smell of coffee wafts through the streets of Teradacho.

Everyone will naturally smile. A happy time and space.

Roasted sweet potatoes and coffee go perfectly together.

Autumn is the season for appetite!

It's heartwarming, haha.

The coffee is handed over after Nakagawa himself explains the story of the sweet potato and his commitment to coffee.

Well, everyone will be happy to taste it!

Your child will also be in a good mood.

Many people come by bicycle from the neighborhood.

Many people came to our store.

Mitsukoya has many other types of sweet potatoes besides roasted sweet potatoes, so be sure to check them out in store!

A lively conversation after a long reunion

A huge number of people came to the event without interruption.

There were also customers who wanted to try the Omine Okugake Trail, so Manager Yoshida responded to them.

For those who live in Teradacho and want to start trail running

Those who came from far away,

Last weekend, we had customers there from start to finish on Sunday.

The time went by in a flash.

Once again, thank you very much to everyone who came to visit us. Please also check out "Mamentomori" and "Mitsukoya" run by Nakagawa-san!
Our next weekend (and last weekend of the year) is Sunday, December 17th. Make sure to put it on your calendar! What kind of event will we have next? Everyone, please look forward to it!
