Launched last year, milestone presents... ROAD TRIP. The concept is to travel around the country, teaming up with shops rooted in the area, and letting participants experience the flagship model headlamp "MS-F1: Trailmaster." We invited Takashi Doi, a milestone ambassador who was involved in the development of the product, as a guest runner, to accompany participants to trails around the country, offering tips on how to use the Trailmaster and other tips for trail running. The tour was named "ROAD TRIP" because the main mode of transportation is by car.

First of all, what is ROAD TRIP? In the music industry, it's a style where indie artists travel around the country in a tour bus (van) and perform live at live houses every night. Afterwards, they sell CDs, live T-shirts, and venue-exclusive goods. Having seen this style up close when I was young, I liked that style and thought it would be good to have a name like that if I were to organize a tour, so I named it that. Lol.

My destination this time was Kyushu, so I took a ferry from Osaka. Just before arriving at Shin-Moji Port in Kitakyushu, I stepped outside just in time for the sun to rise. I felt refreshed in both body and mind.

One place I'd like to visit in Kyushu is Hiraodai, just under an hour's drive from Shin-Moji Port. From there, you can get a panoramic view of the "karst plateau" that we learned about in class. By the way, what is karst? It's a landform created by the erosion of exposed limestone on the surface by rainwater and other factors.

Anyway, the scenery was beautiful and the breeze was pleasant even while running, making it a great location.

The first day's event was held at Stride Lab Fukuoka, a running specialty store located in the heart of Fukuoka city. We would like to thank staff members Nakahira and Tanaka for carefully planning the course.

As it was the day after the release of the waist light "Trailmaster + RUSH Light", a collaboration with Paagoworks, many people purchased it.

After the event, many people liked the Trail Master so much that they purchased one.

On the second day, we headed south from Fukuoka City to Omuta City, where we visited Sky Trail, a trail running specialty store.

I have used ART (Aso Round Trail) before, but this time I had a great time chatting with the owner, Mr. Shiiyama, while riding.

After the event, it seemed like everyone liked our products...

I bought a lot of Trail Master gear, caps, and T-shirts! lol

The fit is great! So, Trail Master! Thank you.

This man had already purchased the Trailmaster and was planning to participate in the UTMF, but he ended up getting a T-shirt instead.

This woman also got a T-shirt!

I'm glad I brought a variety of sizes! It was very popular with the ladies.

The milestone original cap series comes in a wide variety of colors, and this customer struggled to decide on a color, but ultimately decided on the MSC-010 BLUE x Gray.

This man had his Gamba Humba T-shirt signed.

The next day, we woke up at 5:00 AM and gathered in the lobby at 5:50 AM. We departed at 6:00 AM. Every day was like a training camp lol. It took about two hours to get to Nagasaki. Doi and the local tough guys ran 40km in seven hours, which was an amazing plan. I supported them with my friends and had the opportunity to talk with everyone.

Then, in the evening, the main event began, which was also attended by many people.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused cities to close early, and the only time we were able to have a proper meal on this tour was on the final day in Nagasaki. Mr. Noshita (aka Notch), Mr. Makishima, and Mr. Yuzo from Global Sports, who agreed to help plan the event, were incredibly grateful to us right up until the very end.

The next morning, I woke up a little early so I went for a solo jog to Mount Inasa.

I was able to get to know the city of Nagasaki.

Then we took the ferry to Osaka. It was a very productive road trip. Thank you to everyone who helped us out there.

I want to go to Kyushu again lol. I'm already missing Kyushu.

So, where's the next destination?
