Now, a headlamp manufacturer is releasing running shorts.

Working on something in a different genre was a big hurdle for us as we had no knowledge or experience, but after much trial and error we were able to successfully bring it to fruition.

First of all, why did we decide to release running shorts? Well, the current lineup is an apparel line that includes caps, T-shirts, and socks. But if we had shorts, we could coordinate our whole outfit! That's how we started with the naive thought. lol

Once development began, it took quite a bit of time to learn the characteristics of the materials, select the fabric, explore patterns, and discover unique features.

I made samples and tested them. I repeated this process over and over. When things didn't go as planned, I repeatedly hit a wall, thinking, "Isn't this something an amateur like me should be doing?" However, thanks to the cooperation of everyone involved, the one-of-a-kind shorts , "Natty Shorts," were born.

First of all, the fabric is made of 2-way stretch nylon, which means you won't feel any tightness even when lifting your legs.

It has been treated with a water-repellent coating, so it repels water well.

It has a soft touch, excellent shape retention, and is very comfortable against the skin. The stitching is also designed to prevent chafing even during long runs. The biggest feature is the side pockets that can hold a cell phone, wallet, etc.

The center pocket has a large capacity that can even store a wind shell.

The wind shell, which is often removed and attached during a race depending on the weather conditions, can be quickly stored, reducing stress .

We also insist on manufacturing our products in Japan, with everything from cutting to sewing and finishing being " MADE IN KYUSHU ."

Each piece is carefully made by a craftsman. I recently visited the factory, but Natty Shorts is a masterpiece that requires many steps to make the craftsmen cry.

*Natty = "beautiful, stylish" in English, and "natural" in Jamaican slang. *Quoted from Bob Marley's masterpiece "Natty Dread."
The color names also incorporate Japanese words: black is "Sumi Black," green is "Yomogi Green," and brown is "Fox Brown . "
The name was chosen with the intention of being stylish yet natural to wear. Please try out the Natty Shorts at your nearest trail running specialty store that carries milestone products.
