It's been a while since my last blog post.
Last week, I went to the Outdoor Retailer Show, commonly known as "OR," a trade show for B2B businesses, held in Denver, Colorado, USA. I visited the summer show a few years ago to inspect it, but this was my first time exhibiting.

Something unexpected happens before you reach your destination!

If everything had gone smoothly, the flight would have gone from Osaka to San Francisco to Denver, but due to storms and other bad weather when we landed in Denver, the plane circled in the sky, but ran out of fuel and had to head to New Mexico.
After spending about three hours on the plane, we finally arrived at the promised land, Denver.

Everyone looked exhausted as they waited for their suitcases.

In our case, the special cases for display fixtures are large, so they always come from a different location, but we were relieved when the package arrived safely.

The next morning, I was jet lagged so I decided to go for a morning run to downtown early in the morning to get a feel for the surrounding area.

I noticed a large group of people on bicycles and it seemed that an event was being held.

From around 6am on weekends, the area is bustling with people riding their bicycles.

And then, I went to REI, the largest outdoor retailer in the US, which was within walking distance from the hotel, and found a YETI soft cooler!? I personally loved the color of this one, but I decided not to buy it this time either.
After that, we went to the neighboring town of Boulder! Apparently, the name of bouldering, which will be an official event at next year's Tokyo Olympics, comes from this town, Boulder!

It's easy to see why it's called a bouldering mecca. There are big rocks everywhere.

The Devil's Thumb is a spectacular monument.

The entire town is at an altitude of 1500m, so the air is already thin. From there, we headed for South Boulder Peak.

Walk, and sometimes run, along the trails, becoming familiar with the environment.
When we finally reached the top, the view from there was amazing, with the Rocky Mountains in full view.

The scenery was so beautiful that I decided to have a little fun with photo editing.
to be continued.
