On Saturday, February 1, 2025, we were able to successfully launch the rainwear "UP-SWING RAIN HOODY / PANTS," which we had staked the future of our company on. We saw that milestone stores nationwide also spread information on social media and provided support. Thank you all for your cooperation. And, frankly, first of all, I feel relieved. That's all I can say. Haha

To commercialize the UP-SWING RAIN HOODIE/PANTS, we made four videos. It shows how much effort we put into them. I'm sure many of you have already seen them, but here's a breakdown of what they are:

1) A powerful promotional video

2) Development Secrets - Factory Infiltration Series

3) Two milestone directors talk about the product's features

4) Behind the scenes of the promotional video for 1)

Today I would like to write a little about point 4).

Location scouting (filming in Osaka city)

This rainwear was developed for trail running and mountain climbing. Because it's difficult to film in the rain in the mountains, we chose Osaka City (where milestone is based) as the location, as it's easier to adjust to the weather and schedule. The video director (who lives in Fukuoka) made a list of potential locations on Google Earth, and I, who lives in Osaka, cycled around the city and shared videos we shot at night to decide on the best location.

The story of the rain-making device (mysterious drawing)

Two days before the shoot, the director sent me a mysterious image. He said he needed this item for the shoot and asked me to prepare it.

This is a rain-making device, so I went to a hardware store to buy a hose, and by chance, a construction company that we work with was there for another reason, so I asked them about it, and they said they had the lumber at their company and would make it for me!

The mechanism is to make holes with a cutter blade and allow a fine drizzle to fall.

The rain is pouring down.

The rain is coming down nicely.

While shooting a scene where artificial rain falls

In fact, after a heavy rain of about 8mm had fallen outside, the ground was nicely wet, and under the director's instructions, we even shot a scene where we stuck our feet in a puddle.

The location where the Awaza Expressway in Osaka City overlaps in every direction is a spectacular sight, and we shot it in the middle of the night when there were few cars. It is used for about one second in the promotional video.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the two models (left: Ashino "Sayapi" Sayaka, right: Taniguchi "Oji" Yuichiro) who cooperated with the shoot until late at night.

A work created by the most amazing members.

The next morning, I ran along the Teradacho Jogging Club course.

A commemorative photo taken at the end of the shoot. I'm hoping to plan a video shoot with this group again next time.
