The weekend after the Shinetsu Gogake Trail Running Race ends, the famous shaved ice shop, Shima no Mono Cafe Tanakato, will be holding a two-day pop-up at milestone TERADACHO.

As I mentioned on Instagram, I was roommates with the owner, Tanaka Akitomo, while studying abroad in the US, and we shared good times and bad times together. This close friend returned to his hometown of Mitsuhama, Ehime Prefecture, and opened a cafe that mainly serves "island products." Whenever I visit Shikoku, I always visit the cafe, eating their delicious shaved ice over and over again, and after making an offer, this event came to fruition.

Despite the unfortunate rain on the first day of the event, many customers lined up before the event opened and enjoyed the shaved ice with smiles on their faces.

Everyone was smiling and saying how delicious it was, and it was a happy atmosphere.

By the way, half of the customers who came to the store were milestone members and the other half were Tanakato-san, which was a perfect balance. On the second day, we were blessed with good weather, and it seemed like many people came with their families.

The menu is extensive and mainly fruit. I got three in two days.

Anyway, since so many customers were pleased with the event, I would like to hold it again next year. *Please check with Tanakato-san, though...lol
