I went to the Takeda Forest Trail Running Race.

Last weekend, I went to the Takeda no Mori Trail Running Race, a trail race organized by Hiroki Ishikawa, held in Yamanashi Prefecture. Speaking of Yamanashi, I went to say hello to " Michi ga Massugu, " run by our very own Ryuji Oyamada, aka RYU-G. Mr. Matsui, who completed the BAMBI100 , was running a flea market on the premises, and with so many customers, both of us were extremely busy from start to finish.

They lined up in relatively good positions and started at the same time.

The course is 30km long and the elevation is about 1000m. It's a pleasant trail with a panoramic view of the Kofu Basin.

I had heard that there was a lot of single track, so I went too fast in the first half to avoid the traffic, and as a result, my legs were completely worn out by the 18km mark.

Even though there were still 10km to go, my legs wouldn't move as I wanted them to. I tried desperately to keep up with the runner in front of me, but it was no use.

Then RYU-G and Mai Fukushima showed up. It was a very valuable experience to be able to see them race up close.

It was really cool to see him steadily climbing, even on the tough climb.
